It's been close to a year ever since this blog had seen a new post so here's a quick update :)

22/06/12 (friday)
In the morning, our dearest sec ones were enrolled, in the new compound so it was pretty exciting, considering we have around 40 sec ones (if i didn'r remember wrongly) in guides this year. Probably one of the most ever. CONGRADUATION to all the sec ones who got enrolled, especially our patrol's precious enda, jolene and melissa. :) Wear your uniform with pride kay! :)

After that, we had outdoor cooking and we cooked mee goreng. I gotta, admit, it turns out really successfully. Guess it was the paste that gives it the Malay-ish fragrance and make the whole dish Malay like. Haha you get what I mean ;) The paste is the most important thing! With the right paste, you can add anything and you would still get quite the same taste (well...sort of)

At the end of the day, we had Guides Own, where we wrote letters to everyone and to thank them. Sorry to all those i couldn't write back to! I'm still in the process of writing your letters. Will try to give it to you guys by this week/next week :)


23/06/12
First thing in the morning, we had PT. It was pretty tiring and we lost in a game of hand untangling and had to spell Mississippi (did i spell it correctly?) with our butt. Then we had internal campfire. Haha it was a great one. The storyline was really epic and quite touching when we realise what was the meaning behind the story :) We did the line dance to girlfriend by avril lavgine and it turns out pretty well. So yeap, well done to all the Ixorians and those in Sparrow! *round of applause* and give yourself a pat on the should GOOD JOB GUYS! :)

And then the oh-so-sad farewell came. It wasn't that emotional this year though. It has been a great 3 and a half year with the Greys and we will definitely miss you guys! :) All the best for your future.
Lastly came promotion..drumroll?

Conrgulation to entian for being promoted to CL. You've done a really great job this past year and yeap, we ixora never forget you! You've been a very awesome, funny and great friend! :)

Congrulation madelene being our new PS. You've really change ALOT since sec one and we hope that you would release your potential and shine brightly in guides! :)

Michelle, thanks for being such a great patrol member and friend. Haha you're really funny and epic. A Thanks for everything :)

Nicolette, don't be disheartened that you aren't promoted kay. Thanks for being such a great junior and you are also a precious part of ixora. Never forget that! :)

Ayana and Samantha, you guys have been really fantastic seniors. Thank you for all you have done for us and all the happy memories we shared. We will never forget you guys! You guys have been etched in our hearts forever! :) All the best for your future.

All in all, thank you all IXORIANS for being such a great patrol member and for everything you have done. You guys are the best patrol members I could ever ask for. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Oh yes, not to forget, do you guys want a patrol outing? I was think of paintball. How does it sound? Or do you guys want to have a day out going around Singapore kinda outing? Let me know yea ;)
