Okay so, Farewell and Promotion was a really emotional affair. We bade farewell to a wonderful Patrol Leader, Jaclyn and a wonderful patrol member, Vanessa. To top that off, En Tian was promoted to Patrol Second of Sparrow. And that means we bid another member adieu. :( Not to forget, our new Patrol Second is Alicia from KFC and Sam is our new CL! :) The transfers and farewells were really emotional and all but we have to embrace the change!:)

On the bright side, we have not lost a member, we've only gained one. :D We'll miss Jaclyn, Vanessa and En Tian but they will always be a part of IXORA!

Thank you for being the best leader ever and giving your all to Ixora. You've been an amazing senior, teaching us, guiding us and just being there for us. Thank you for all the amazing memories we had together as a team for Outdoor Challenge, as a committee in Emcee and as a pair leading ixora. You've been the best role model to me and I still have much more to learn from you as a leader of ixora and as a guide. I'll really miss your bright and exuberant personality! :D

Thank you for being a lovely senior and a part of Ixora. 2 and a half years have come and gone and although i still haven't really got to know you very well and still am not very close to you, you are really delightful to be around. I'll really miss your humour and the laughter you bring in patrol meetings! :)

Congratulations on your promotion to CL! I'm sure you'll be able to lead SNguides very well!

Congratulations on being promoted to PS! Although technically you won't be in ixora anymore, you will alwaysalways be a part of ixora and we will alwaysalways remember you as an ixorian and as that sweet 'n' smart girl. I know you'll be able to work with geraldine well to lead Sparrow. We all recognise that potential in you so keep on shining! :)

Congratulations on being promoted to PS and welcome to ixora! You have been delightful to work with for camp challenge and i hope we will continue to work well with one another to lead ixora from now on. I know you'll miss KFC and all and though it this change is difficult, I hope you will keep your guiding light burnin even in Ixora. :)

Oh yes, MICHELLE, don't worry we have definitely not forgotten about you! Like Ms Law said, there are only so many positions available in Guides and we can't possibly promote all of you so although you were not promoted, i hope your passion will only grow stronger and stronger from now. There are still manymany more opportunities for you to contribute and shine in guides! :)
